If this is “fast” cob building, how slow is regular cob building?
Branimir Marold says
misleading title, (re)search for word *cob*
and if you do it right (*cob*) it wouldn’t take much longer then shown on
this video
I’m reacting in interest of safety cause some people could actually try to
do something like this .. study materials and techniques well folks ..
nothing that last long is easy and quick ;)

Ian Wilson says
How the he’ll does an earthen building “purify toxins ” ? That’s the kind
of stupid hippy Shit that makes what is otherwise a good building media and
turns it into a laughing subject.
Kernow Current says
why did u put this trippy music over the video just cant here him
LKH Fun says
Fast? This is the down-side to the best construction media for a home. It
has to be made efficient or it will never be used on a large scale and that
is a great shame.

What happens if the t starts to rain does it melt ur work away how long
does it take to go solid dry
Georgia Hunter says
So in the SE USA where it rains a lot, how does this work? Once it dries
will it really stay and not get washed away? Seems like at the very least,
the wall should be fired once dry. No?
DL Spamalot says
If I made a cob chicken coop, I know the chickens would be pulling on the
straw. Is there any way They won’t destroy the coop eventually?
Gubia Pe says
Hello there. I have a puzzle with regards to use a straw in cob mix.
I am in a process of making walls of my cob house. I have dried some
samples of mud plates to test a strenght when dry. I came to conclusion
that the mud plate of 10cm x 10cm x 2cm whithout straw was more dificult do
broken that one using a straw.
During last 5 years watching videos and reading about the cob structures
everyone using in their cob mix a straw.
Based on my findings I am a bit confused. With the clay earth I have
available whether or not to use a straw. I would be most thankful for any
useful info. Gracias, from Peru Michal.
