I love this, I think the idea is awesome. It would be nice to be able to add a second pod to it if you went from a single person to a couple, or could just afford to add to your home.

ok for 1 person, maybe 2 to expensive though @ 140k and higher

all these art houses are designed so that they need vast open space around them, which negates being tiny.

150k wtf
Lina Mcfalls says
So disappointed in the price. You could buy a regular home with land for that cost. I don’t get it
Megan Garcia says
Very intriguing idea for sure!

tip for the kitchen.. those who want and like to cook would rather have the oven up and put storage down….
My Perspective says
Ever since I was a kid I always thought that this should be a thing. I remember as a kid thinking about people that stacked their boats in boat sheds and at some storage places I also saw towable living trailers stacked 2-3 high. I remember thinking why not do the same thing with lager house trailers, but with uniform looking ones so they don’t mess-up the view too much.

Fannie Mae financing requires dirt contact not a condo financing that requires owner occupied. Single person can be ADU but would prefer double car garage conversion to ADU. This has Mobil home unit. That depreciated in value instead of empty nester rental property to pay taxes and insurance to keep someone in their home. For $100k can upgrade existing home and convert double car garage to ADU with existing financing. Your unit how do you finance it? Requires multi family zoning and custom financing not qualified Fannie Mae or Mobil home
Phil Hjemboe says
I would guess that, like almost all “mobile” homes, few of these units would ever be moved once they are in place. People move for many reasons, including wanting more space, needing less space, etc. Unlike pastoral nomads, city dwellers don’t generally think of taking their homes with them when they move.
