Question… With the stones you gathered you said that you won’t use 50% of them because they won’t fit. So chipping or cutting the stones that will not be facing the outside is not an option or is it just a better use of time to forage for the right stones? Thanks.

there’s not such things as an unusable stone. The mason that taught me, said every stone has a place, and there’s a place for every stone

Should have gone over the hand tools someone should have at least a basic understanding of. People have been building with stone for thousands of years. Long before we had modern power tools and such.

Could you use all the stones by putting a cob or natural filling, or is a foundation unable to have a fill-in material?
