From ontario been watching have a great idea the A frame part looking over the field would be a great spot for a fireplace and seeing a smoke stack up beside the house would look good

You better turn the Masters Bath out into or behind the garage, you won’t be happy with a little bathroom you will be adding on again later. lol

I don’t understand how you can work with so much precision without any dimensional and detailed drawings. The technical lots are done as if by magic and everything falls perfectly, unless you have professionals framing you in underhand… bravo en tous les cas pour votre savoir faire et votre enthousiasme…

Really enjoyed this build. All the other off-grid vlogs stress using what nature proves, living off the land, and more man vs wild. This is more of making a house a home. Also giving your children a life most never experience. This fast pace life will always get crazier. My favorite childhood memories are at my grandparents farm working the land.

Love your videos – they are so professionally done. The music, the drone work, the Macro nature shots… well just everything! Also, love your married couple humor… very tastefully done. As a DYI’er I am learning a lot by following you on your journey because you are taking the time to explain things along the way. Thank you for being you!

Question: I love your videos but have a simple question … “Why did you build on pillars and not put in either a block or concrete basement for the extra space to keep tools and to help keep pipes from freezing, etc.?”

that “foam in a can” stuff in the beginning of the video… I call that stuff “the devil’s foam” because, if you get it on your hands, it wont come off for at least month. I finally got it off me after days of scrubbing with sand paper :I
