All these people narrating sound so terrible I turned the sound off and
just watched the video. This guy sounds like a sissy. The girl didn’t sound
good either. Where do they get these people? This cob clearly doesn’t look
to be any more earthquake proof than other building methods. I like the
aesthetics of adobe and wattle and daub, but am sorry I’m not fond of this.
Building with it seems a little nasty; its VERY labor intensive. I built a
small wall with this method years ago on a temporary structure and I was
surprised how long it took. It seemed very hard and strong, but when I tore
it down I found it wasn’t strong at all. There are other ways: personally,
I like my shingle method. U can see part of what I’m doing at “homemade
shingle/veneer making machine” on youtube. I’m building something now which
will be amazing. Its going slow right now because of the annoying heat and
    humidity and biting gnats here.

If they were earthquake resistant, or even if they had “strong earthquake
resistance” I suspect that everyone on the coast of california would be
    using them for construction.

What about mold? Mold can be highly toxic and even lethal to humans. Also,
what about allergies? It seems like people with allergies to hay (hay fever
and such) would have significant health issues, not to mention those with
    allergies to mold.

I fucking LOVE Cob! I have for 8 years ~ I regret to say that this
incredible possibility will never be allowed by the tyrants we live
under…like every good thing for humanity. Imagine, if we start being
‘free’ to do this.. what happens to their housing market? It won’t be
tolerated , like cancer cures aren’t tolerated by the Pharma-mafia. But for
a post collapse.. ah, yes that will be sweet times.. haha I’ll finally have
    a fairytale cottage/castle. :D
