I really love this tiny home and am so impressed with the incredible result of the build for such an amazing budget. We are a tad late again with this weeks upload, as we currently have a busy filming schedule in Europe and have found ourselves in a few spots with limited access to the internet. Lovely home. Was there a shower curtain?
To be honest, not one of my favorite builds. You can tell when someone says they started building without a real plan of what they were going to do that the end result is going to be questionable. It looks like they put more effort into style than functionality. I know they just finished and moved in and are super excited by everything, but can you imagine hauling that ladder back and forth and up and down a step every day, several times a day, just to get into your loft and get your clothes? That’s going to get old real fast. And the sleeping loft is so small with the bed positioned sideways right at the edge so if you happen to roll to far in the night you take a serious tumble onto the kitchen. It only takes one time to possibly break you neck. Not well thought out. At least turn the bed the other way or leave some space between the bed and the edge of he loft! And a giant farmhouse sink but a tiny portable cooktop? They were defos watching too much HGTV and got seduced by trendy style concepts. Also, how are they (especially he) going to shower in that “adorable clawfoot tub” without getting water EVERYWHERE!? I bet cleaning up spilled water in the bathroom is gonna get old pretty fast too. How soon do you think before these two put this build up for sale proclaiming they’ve “just outgrown their beloved tiny home” or something along those lines? A year? Less?
This is are really comfortable, sweet home. Paying it off in a year is so fiscally wise. A beautiful couple, too. Much love.
I love how its always the lady of the house saying “well i wanted the claw foot tub and he didn’t” as they proceed to show off their shiny claw foot tub. I’m not sure what magic these tubs hold over women but its true even in my family. EVERY woman in my family is obsessed with these tubs.

tiny homes arent practical in CA for the most part… you’d be lucky to find a place to park it legally for free..
