It appears that light is coming through where the roof meets the walls. I
assume it is weather proof, are there openings for ventilation or
    something?

Nice place man. It looks as traditional as anyone I have ever seen. Those
Mongolian folks have had a long time to perfect it I guess. I really like
the simplicity of it all, coupled with the transportability.

I would have built a longer roof overhang. A small battery with a solar
panel would power LED lights and be better than candles. My opinion.
    Otherwise its pretty cool.

What type of wood? Did you rip it on a table saw or where you able to find
    the right size limber.

When you take it all down for moving, how much would you say is there to
move? As far as estimated weight and amount of bundles?

The title made it seem like an instructional video. :c But it was not. You
should have called it “Let’s Look at Someones Yurt”, lol. It is very nice
    though.

The Mongolians didn’t call them yurts, they call them Gers, Yurt is Turkic
(not to be confused with Turkish).
