Hi There its Seth from Nelson Tiny Houses.
I’ve never left a comment on youtube before so I may not really get how it works also I may not have enough of a filter for it but I’m obviously not the only one lacking a good filter.
I guess I should have explained in the beginning of this video that we were almost finished with this house when we decided it would make sense economically to do a story on site (it was never intended to be a doubledecker). Not only was it not part of the plan, we only had about a month to get the first floor ready before we were delivering the upper part. All this definitely caused the house to have a lack of flow but what do you do…..
Except keep on building and learning! The thing about the drugs….that’s just all ridiculous. Well, maybe I was on a lot of coffee and I could have been handling insulation or something that day. Back then I had two little kids that didnt sleep much and I worked LONG days. About my fashion or lack of, I just can’t believe with all the stuff going on in the world this is where people put their attention, then again, maybe its all just too overwhelming so we distract ourselves with things that REALLY dont matter (if you are in high school, you have a better excuse….its still lame tho).
The client we built this house for is still really happy with it and lucky for me…that’s all that matters.

I found this design more to my likeing, with two floors to work with. I need the extra living space for my two large bird cages. Getting to the loft would be a challenge for me since I am 62 with a fracture in my back. Looks like a cozy home, without the extra space I cannot maintain.

This looks like trash…not well designed at all

Poor design and function of the space. She needs a designer. The place is sooo cute and she has ample space .. the floor plan and design could be soo much better

Doesn’t really count as a tiny house

OMG …that’s the ladder to downstairs, inside a closet? Wow 😲

Not the best design especially the steep ladder, no wonder she sleeps outside. I like the big windows.

I see the focus of your video’s as problem solving to meet your clients wishes, while meeting professional building standards. Great job and you always keep it real. Keep on going if you find any negativity in the comments section. Let the nay sayers words remain for them alone. Change if you want to but I throughly enjoy who you are, just as you are. A very creative and productive man, who builds beautiful dwellings!
