Kid’s bunk bed rail was too high, seemed like a cage.. was it a crib? Stairs seemed like a chore to be pulling them out and putting them back in every time..

Does any one know what the county ordinances are in the Minneapolis metro area for tiny homes? Where is this home kept? “Not in my back yard ” seems to be the norm in MN.

I watched these guys when they were building their tiny home on tv, Tiny Home, Big Living, and what a sweet family. And to be quite honest, at the end of the show, I think the couple got a bigger shock then the viewers because they looked so genuinely stunned of their finished tiny home, you could tell that it far succeeded what they had imagined their tiny home would look in their mind when it was completed. I thought the couple were very clever and practical with what they wanted in their home and how they wanted it put together. It rare to find a couple on these shows who knew from the beginning what their family needed, cleverly using every inch of the space available, incorporating the welfare of their young children’s needs and making sure that it was a safe environment for their kids. They also hired great builders, and the builders were very people-friendly in that they spoke and listened to the owners, keeping their customers involved with every step, also giving valuable advices to how to improve or how to make two separate functioning furnitures into one multipurpose item, for example, in the children’s bedroom, creating a bunk bed system where the top bunk was a crib that easily convert to a bed too as the young baby grow into a toddler, with great storages for the children’s clothes, nappies etc, and a few minutes later with a few clever moves and locking systems, the bedroom turned into a good size playroom for the children. A beautiful tiny home with enough room to move for the family of four.
