Lovely bus and very nice tour, most enjoyable!!
You should put some thin plywood walls up, and remove that concrete countertop to save on weight. Its odd that you are worried about weight of walls with that massive weight on your kitchen countertop. Stone slabs in a moving vehicle already overloaded with 2 70-gal tanks? The two tanks filled with water weigh 1166 lbs + their own empty weight of say 60 lb for both = 1230 lbs. Why add any more weight? Your mpg on a bus is already very low.

Chemical sensitivity – might be the result of low adrenal gland function. Wife should take Vit B complex 2 x day 8 am, and 2 pm. Also a Multivitamin/ Mineral like Source Naturals Mega One Multi at noon (so Vit B is spaced out). Some Vit B complex injections are very helpful too. Go thru 3-6 months of taking Adrenergize Adrenal Gland capsules from Enzymatic Therapy. This will boost adrenal glands. Raise your probiotic levels, and eat plain non fat yoghurt. Taking digestive enzymes (without hydrochloric acid) will help a lot too.

    Here is what happens:
Stress causes your body to use up Vit B complex supplies. When Vit B complex (all of them) run low, the adrenal glands which feed on them, get depleted as well, and start running on empty. This causes low adrenal gland function. This causes chronic sinus issues, allergic reactions, sensitivity to chemicals, noise, and general irritability as well. Many symptoms. Low Adrenals also cause Thyroid gland to malfunction, so you have immune system issues – frequent colds, etc. See the link all the way to Vit B?
The solution is to raise Vit B levels orally and by injection. Injections are cheap and highly effective. You feel euphoric and body runs so well! Supplemental Vit B12 (Cobalomin) is good too. Don’t take too much Vit B complex at once or you will feel dizziness, nausea. It will pass, but best to space it out, then no issues at all. Pee turns bright yellow as it passes out of your system, being a water soluble vitamin.

Other cause of sensitivities may be a lack of probiotics in stomach and intestines. Here is what happens: Your gut is an Amazon forest of different types of friendly bacteria. Not just Acidophilus, but Bifidus and many others. We give them free real estate. They produce digestive enzymes that break down our food so we have proper digestion. Due to medicines like antibiotics and steroids, and stress, and poor food choices, our bacteria levels may be compromised. Food then, does not get digested, and this leads to a toxin overload, which then leads to sensitivities to many things, and bowel issues and ‘allergies’. Another by product of low bacteria count is the low serotonin levels which lead to depression. 80% of serotonin is produced in the gut.
The solution is to clean up the food supply – eat mostly raw and clean foods, and take probiotics to restock your gut. Eat a ton of yoghurt – mix with spices, ginger, etc to make a drink called Lassi which can be sweet or salty. Sugar is the enemy of your gut, so keep it salty and sour. Take Digestive Enzymes (minus hydrochloric acid) with each meal to digest it better. Do all this for at least 6 months. This should eliminate any gut issues. You can check http://www.nzymes.com for the probiotic kit.

Lastly, early and sufficient sleep, and some good exercise /sunlight is essential for the body.
If you want to detox kidneys and liver, see how to in a book called Prescription for Nutritional Healing by Balch. Good stuff. Its like changing old motor oil in your body. Pollution is gone.

There should be no chemical sensitivities in any human body. The body is an incredible machine if properly maintained. When you have signs like this, it means there may be a deficiency that should be addressed. Living with it, means it has not been resolved.

dado a cleat on the floor and ceiling using 2x? stock on the top scribe a piece to fit keeping the bottom level with the dado in it and use t and g pine or what ever in the groves top and bottom and the tongue will lock the wall together wedge the last board so you can tighten the boards up as they shrink dry out

Thanks for the tour of your home on wheels, love the conversion especially the tung and groove on the ceiling, love the looks and weight reduction on the open upper cabinets ( I am a cabinet maker ) but it takes me back to when I was driving a bus for PHX First Assembly and a gey passed me and jumped over in my lane and locked his breaks only ten feet in front of the bus, I was at 45 mph (the speed limit ) I had to do a controlled skid into the center turning lane to keep from running over the top of him let me tell you a bus is a lot of vehicle to get sideways and straightened back out, had this been your bus or one like it everything not ainkerd down would have become projectiles please share this with your wife and the two of you think about this.

Not too fussy on the kitchen it looks more like a catering one than a home one! That’s just my opinion.. the front of the bus is the same, I think it’s because all the stuff is on show rather than just behind cupboards! We all got different tastes but other than that it Great & I hope you have a wonderful time in it. 😃
