You did a great job maximizing space! We lived in a small apartment for 6 years while we saved for a house. Even though the house is bigger, We still keep things very minimal. Plus, when everything has a specific place, things stay tidier, longer. No more Jenga every time you need something! Thank you Lord for Your provision!
Did you own this house and, if so, how was selling it?
I live in a 960 sq. ft. bungalow which I love and it feels huge! I regularly have my sister’s kids over and could easily see a small family living here. It’s not my forever home and I just hope it sells quickly. Thankfully it looks big because I also keep things very minimal.
I really like your whole vibe. Glad I found you on here. 🙂
Damn people in the comments so worried about the one bathroom situation as if all your family members had ibs
Dude love your vibes!
Don’t let anyone make you feel guilty. No one should judge if they’ve never walked in someone’s shoes. When I was little we lived in a trailer till I was three. My dad is a self employed building contractor and slowly built our house over several years, so while he was building, we were in a small trailer. My older sisters room was literally a closet that only had room for a small toddler bed and my crib was in the living room. You do what you gotta do and not everyone has the luxury of more space. Good luck on your move! We are still in the “moving” process. We’re in our new place, but still setting up furniture and unpacking. Most of our apartment is IKEA, they definitely have great stuff for small spaces. We actually downsized from a 2 bedroom 2 bath to a 700 sf 1 bedroom 1 bath. But, it’s just me and my husband, so we don’t need all that space. We definitely had to purge a lot! 😊
when my mother became a widow it was five kids in one bedroom Apartments we love the space my small brother and I slept in the living room we had sofas to sit on a TV it was perfect even a fireplace minimizing is great especially when you don’t have much you don’t know you’re missing what others have!
I see on the wall responsibilitites chart/ rewards chart. Can you do one day mum vlog video about it ( how it’s works for your kids). Regards
This is so awesome! Love it 👌
People said she wouldn’t be able to grow because you had her in that space😂😂😂 what even? 😂
I’ve been living for the last 2 years with my girlfriend in a small apartment about 48 square meters. Your home looks like a freaking palace 😂😂
first world minimalism..
love this
i don’t appear a minimalist, but i try to keep in mind; i have everything in my entire life in my room – i don’t have an apartment, i don’t have a home ..i have a bedroom .. if i spread my stuff out across an entire home, no matter how small a home; but more than a single room – i wouldn’t look minimalist; i’d look robbed
Children do not need a bunch of colors in the area they sleep. In fact, it’s better to have a very bland room for them. That way, they don’t keep themselves stimulated while looking around the room when they should be trying to fall asleep. So, you can let haters know all that.
Looks like this might be in Canada houses and living is so expensive but most houses only have 1 bathroom especially if you’re downtown
You’re great! God is doing great things with you life!
I actually would like to live in a small space so it forces me to be more minimal!! Less stuff, more experiences!! Less space to do things at home, more reason to get out and do things!!
Living in a 320 sq ft apartment for 4 grown ups
Thanks for sharing this! Always make most of what you have! I love your open mind.
Does your bedroom have a door?
“What are some tips on getting rid of stuff?” and getting new ones
There were so many other ways I feel like you could’ve done this where the baby’s crib wasn’t surrounded by all that stuff.
I’m not judging you explained it’s what worked and everything. I’m just sitting here thinking of ways from what I seen in the video.
This is actually similar or even bigger space that majority of my friends had growing up in Europe, and that’s what a large % of people still have. You use all space you are given as well.
I think she confuses minimalism with a small space.
I just discovered with this video that I was living as minimalist all my entire life and still now with my three kids ..I always thought less is better. The crib does fit on the kids bedroom I did myself. Thanks for sharing 👍
Ive aways loved small spaces because I feel I have more control of it. I do believe everything in my house has to have its own house. And it has to be logical organized so I’ll aways know where something was put. Decluttering is a therapy 😍 But, girl, I’m just OMG!! You made magic in there! You’ve managed to go minimal and even created a lot of empty space for “things eventually to come”, and ive found that brilliant! I do thing you deserve a bigger house 😂 but you’ve taught me it’s totally possible to work with what you have. And I’ll never understand someone criticizing it, really. They should be learning from you! I’m a new subscriber and I’m loving your channel!!! ❤ sooooo inspiring for me!
Thank you so much for this video! We are currently trying to downsize and all your tips are super helpful!
Wow! Props!
Your house isn’t small if it is in Italy. Around 66 square meters are ok for a family of 4 if properly used.
We were at one point a family of 8 living in 95 m2 with one bathroom. I was hearing toilet flushes all day all night. Tiny kitchen but 5 rooms. My mom wasnt a minimalist except in cooking 😂 our home was just crooowded i was sleeping in the dining room
Great video! It made my day and changad my perspective 😊 thank you!
