I would have kept the star of life and Rod of Asclepius, because who is going to force an “ambulance” to move? And it’s not as if you’re impersonating an official, because as long as they don’t ask and you don’t tell them you’re EMT workers, you are doing no such thing. Yeah, I’d definitely keep it. Plus it looks incredible.

You should hook up a vaporizor hookah to the oxygen outlets. Plug’n’play vaping.

Since it doesn’t have any windows, maybe you could accomplish two things at once: make it tall enough for you to walk in at 6′ 4″ by putting in a hydraulic roof, which opens with plexiglass most of the way around, to let in light, plus ventilation, like the tiny wooden house with the two ladies in Japan so you can close it and not have it be too tall when you’re driving through gas stations etc…

OY! Don’t knock the sage! And don’t forget to put some black tourmaline in some of the cubbies to add some extra protection to the Campulance!

The stainless steel bars overhead were probably used to hold saline & other fluids going into the patient as well as for balancing. As for a bed; how about a Murphy’s-type bed (where the two seaters are), that can maybe fold twice in on itself for seating, but out with a brace for a bed. I’m no expert but I know it can be done if you have 2 solid legs that would unfold when the bed was fully opened.

Not sure how far you are with the renovation, but if you still had time and funds, doing a two for one, adding some height to the roof, a few inches, due to your hight😂 maybe where the hand bars are currently, you could have a slightly vaulted roof, but as a more spiritual thing for your companion a really nice skylight the same length as the vaulted roof, nothing beats star gazing from bed, especially on thoes rainy days, and if not a clear skylight, maybe a stain glass skylight, all thoes pretty colours when the sun’s out. 🥰Love you guys love the show, please update us all soon! 😊

chop the top, and have some kind of hydraulic lift to bring it up so you can have more room over the head, make it looks more space to the compacted area inside your ambulance..and when you traveling, the top can be lower to it’s original height.. the rest you probably knows what to do…hehhe.. actually the ambulance kinda look like a small RV than an ambulance… LOL

I could live in this and use it to make income in film and television in Los Angeles. Not only would there be no rent, but it would provide income.

To keep the legal seating; use a murphy bed system on the bulkhead. I love the truck!

Thank you so much for sharing this! My husband and I just purchased a much older ambulance to convert into a camper as well, but it’s so cool to see how well you’re able to use it without many changes!

Do hammocks instead of a bed! They are more comfortable anyway and it saves floor space!

For the bed you need something you can mount on the ceiling when you’re not using it then just drop down over the seats

No one is gonna haunt an ambulance. The patients wouldnt wanna haunt a place they only knew for 20 minutes.

This is hilarious, my husband thinks I’m nuts because I too have been looking at ambulances for conversion into a camper. For the bed I’ve been picturing a piece of padded wood maybe that drops down and latches from the wall behind the “sofa”. I look forward to seeing yours come to fruition, mine is just a dream I think.

Since you already have a tiny house and use it to pull and only sometimes stay in, I would design it more around being complimentary to house more seating and auxiliary..

You could use the metal pull-up bars to hold your mattress when it’s not in use. When you need the mattress you can add a pulley system to make it descend. So cool!!!

I work at an ambulance service. You have a SUPERB rig on your hands! Congratulations. We have a rig similar in size to yours and I am already envisioning its potential as a “campulance” as you call it. I cannot wait to see an updated video (if there isn’t one already).. God bless.
