Great video. We’ve seen you before on a few different channels and have always admired your goals and ambition.
There’s always ups and downs, but provided that the ups far outweigh the downs, then we keep living our alternative lifestyles.

I recently lived for 10 months in my car, a Acura Integra hatchback. With the back seat folded down, I was able to install a mattress in the back, which occupied the full length and width of the space. This turned out to be a perfect little setup. I am 5’10” tall, and when laying at an angle, with my pillow against the driver’s seat, I was able stretch out completely, and comfortably. And from the outset my bedding consisted of a very cozy sleeping bag. No making the bed. Period. And after I finally did get an apartment, I still sleep in that sleeping bag, because it is SO much easier and more convenient than making up bedding like a traditional bed.

The funniest part is as your walking away with the dust pan…your dog shakes his hair. Valid reasons. I do not live in a tiny house…ours is 580 sq ft…but…your right…on all points.

Who doesn’t wish to have owned a mansion with a lot of maids? lol. Furthermore, a tiny house concept is design for cost-efficient for those not well to do retired to have to cut the cost of living for a better life for their retirement days. You cannot compare it with by bringing your bf and friends into it. Out of topic. If I ever live in a tiny house, I wouldn’t have to do so. Except for my special one only. lol

Thanks for sharing! Many years ago my husband and I lived in his 24′ travel trailer for the first 6 months of our marriage. It worked fine for us. We also spent 3 months a year in a 32′ travel trailer for the next 7 years, which was absolutely fine. About 10 years ago I bought an older Georgie Boy 32′ motorhome, gutted it, and started the renovation. Life changed, and I ended up selling it. Now, at age 67, I am ready to do it again, and I’m considering all options. I’ll probably go with a motorhome again, because that will work better for me than an actual tiny home. I plan to buy a used one, gut most of it, and build it to suit my needs and preferences. I really appreciate your sharing the challenges you have encountered, as well as the great aspects of living small! Oh, BTW… Judging you? Hmm. That was an interesting point. Thanks for the heads up. Let ’em judge away! If they don’t get it, they don’t get it. As you said, we’re all different. Party of what makes this life so interesting, no?!
matt becker says
