I have a question. if 13.6 is ok height and I am 5ft6 then can my lower level be 6 ft high and my upper level be 7 ft? or, and if you sit down in your living room, why does every model try to put the couch on the main level? why not have awesome kitchen be where family can gather and the bathroom be big enuf for a bath tub, laundry, dressing room with a full closet and why not put the living room/reading room/entertainment room in a loft using this double stairs system? I love this but I would have bigger bath than it is, scrap the couch area, drop the ceilings, and have living and bedroom upstairs with more room enuf to maybe bend over but not be on my knees.

If the client is down sizing from a milion dollar house, he surely is taking his luxury with him, while saving on the cost!

This may not be everyone’s cup of tea, and I do understand there are those who might say, hell I could build a regular stick house. All I can say to that is to try and put these amenities in a regular house, and the cost of the home alone will go up substantially. There are reasons to go tiny, imagine all the creature comforts, little monthly cost of operation and the ability to move the hose when and if you wish. Ideal for new couples and older couples that may want to have it in New York now with a plan of moving it to Florida upon retirement in a few years. It may not be the thing for everyone but could be for many depending on circumstance.

I dont get why the sliding door is there when you cant get out of it.. also you would be sitting on the couch with your head twisted trying to watch the TV. .. Also how come no tiny houses have solar hot water? Otherwise it looks great.

Interesting, just wondered about insulation for the colder months also nowadays we need to not have just a shelf where we put wallets and phones etc. but a hidden cubby of sorts. Also Security in Tiny homes needs to be addressed and would be nice to hear about. Thanks

IMPORTANT TIPS FOR 1ST TIME & UNINFORMED BUYERS:
For those who are unaware, if there’s not an entry door & a closet, then it’s not a bedroom…. those aren’t even rooms, they’re loft areas or lofts, but saying bedroom sounds better (even though it’s deceitful) when they’re trying to upsell their product. This appears to be a good quality build and he did a decent job sharing information about it. Remember this, a truly good product always sells itself so it’s best to ignore the opinions of the sales person, as those are simply attempts to talk you into making the purchase. They’ll always share the pros, but try asking them about the cons as well. If they’ll be honest and discuss the cons without trying to make them seem irrelevant then you’re likely dealing with someone who honestly cares about your ultimate satisfaction and not just someone trying to make a quick sale with no regard of buyer’s remorse.

Too bad the cameraman focused on the speaker instead of revealing the floor plan. There is no shot of the relationship between the living area and kitchen–really big mistake!

I feel the door in the living room is unnecessary. If there was no door the couch could be placed in the place where the door is currently so that they can watch the TV peacefully without having the door reflection on it. Also, that coffee table would have someplace.

You might as well Buy a regular house in every state in the continental US except for some of the deep red ones Habitat for Humanity has discounted or subbed products and every Lowe’s and whatever your local hardware store is Home Depot they have workshops they have tools that you can use Habitat for Humanity I mean and they have professionals that donate their time you just have to put in a certain amount of hours as well and you can walk away not owing anything except for what you end up paying on the refrigerator and stove for what not if you want to brand new ones another really great way to go is shipping containers they’re too expensive to destroy because they’re so well made here in Washington state they’re giving them away for free all you have to do is pay to ship them onto your property and they’re really easy to make into very strong spacious houses 10 to 12 ft wide 12 to 14 ft tall 45 ft long no mortgage Semper Fidelis

If you’re willing to just put in a little bit of time and sweat along with going around 2 companies that repurpose places that are being destroyed you can find really nice Cabinetry unique fixtures Ding and Dent washer and dryers and refrigerators that we’re going to be up against the wall you’re not going to see it anyway it’s absurd to spend that much money that’s just indulgent
