Think I just hit the gold mine of shipping container home info.
im looking at the same idea as you have done but on a bigger scale. how do
you get around planning permission?? id like to build an off grid home.
but before i get land i need info on the planning permission side of it

What I have found is that a lot of council and I come under Exeter just
don`t want to know I had plans that I want to show them would not even ring
me back try a few times.

hello , thankyou for posting such useful info and links into the container
living world , i am planning on building my own container home within the
next year (at early stages ) do you have any advice on what land to go for
that will make it easier for planning consent ect , ie agricul , waste land
or woodland ???? i plan to clad the outside with plantations such as ivy to
help blend in to natural surroundings , but my main concern is buying a
plot of land and then never being allowed to live on it. so far my plan is
to buy the land and start fitting out the containers prior to them being on
the land. My long term goal is to keep a small holding and dog rescue
center on the land as well as me living on the land. I plan to be
completely off grid using solar and osmosis ect so don’t need electric or
water. my main concern is i live in sussex (brighton ) and would like to
stay local but land is at a premium hear so dont want to waste my money at
the first hurdle. any info you could give me or usefull links into buying
the land would be great. look forward to seeing the rest of ur videos ,

heard some incredible things about it and my co-worker got excellent
results with it.
There are several components to doing a pro job. One resource I found which
succeeds in merging these is the Magic Container Plans (google it if you’re
interested) definately the most helpful info i’ve seen. look at this super
site.
