Thank You for doing the breakdown. I am with you that if you can, invest in a higher grade item for long term use.

She really spent top dollar on many things. I’m building one now. For starters, my trailer cost me $500 + $100 for delivery. Over a $4k difference. It’s about 40 feet long. Super beast cow trailer I converted.

Youz gotta search for deals, bargain and think outside the box.

Additionally, I live in south Florida. That’s another $4k saved from a heater.. A mini split air conditioner literally cost less than $400. And that’s a good one.

The list goes on and on. It’s easy to splurge when you have the money. But DON’T. Spend it on better things like buying land and a good solar system.

The structure itself is cheap to build. A few thousand. It’s the finishings, appliances, etc, that cost.

$15k can build a great tiny home.

I’m at a point in my build to start thinking about purchasing a woodstove. Are you still happy with the Kimberly ? It seems to be the best on paper as far as burning efficiency and clearances from a combustable surface. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Great job on all your videos!

But of corse a greedy idea came up to build a trailer SPECIFICALLY FOR a tiny house = shit ton of money. That’s the whole trouble with tiny houses, the GREED that has saturated the solution. Now you need a mortgage to escape the mortgage trap. Lmaoooooooo greed has taken over.

I can build this way way cheaper. But I do construction work. I would get high quality windows at garage sale or windows that people didn’t want after ordering them . I would buy my doors same way . Then build my tiny home by the measurement of window and doors.
I would buy cull lumber is way cheaper.
At a lumber yard. I would look in Facebook for different idiom in market place. I would get insulation out of demolition houses. Electric wire I would buy from scrap yard . Some will sell it to you for a little higher then scrap price. And believe me you can get good wire there
